Nomad Royalty Company Ltd. (NSR:TSX; NSRXF:OTCQX) announced in a news release the preliminary totals of its 2020 gold and silver deliveries and sales from its royalties, streams and loan interests.
Deliveries totaled 16,607 gold equivalent (Au eq) ounces in 2020. That breaks down into 217,401 ounces from its silver streams, 7,409 ounces from its gold royalties and streams, and 6,700 ounces from its Premier Gold prepay loan.
Sales totaled 17,504 Au eq ounces. Ounces sold from silver streams were 301,384, ounces sold from gold royalties and streams totaled 7,409, and ounces sold from the gold prepay loan were 6,700.
Nomad Royalty stated its preliminary total revenue in the 2020 calendar year, including cash from the Bonriko gold stream vend-in, was $29.9 million.
Also in this news release, the company provided an update on each of its assets.
At Blyvoor, ore processing was started, and blasting is ongoing. A resource update is expected in H1/21.
Regarding Mercedes, Equinox will become the owner-operator once its acquisition of Premier Gold closes. Equinox indicated that the mine could be expanded such that annual gold production could increase to 80,000–90,000 ounces.
At Moss, Northern Vertex Mining is actively drilling with three rigs, testing district-scale targets to expand the mine life. Also, the company has been implementing programs to cut costs and increase operational efficiencies at the project.
At Robertson, first production is expected in 2025. In the meantime, Barrick will conduct drilling there.
Regarding South Arturo, a recently published prefeasibility study (PFS) outlines an 18-year mine life. An updated resource estimate for El Nino is anticipated in 2021 after all 2020 drill results are received.
As for Troilus, Troilus Gold recently reported positive drill results from the Southwest zone and started a drill program to expand the resource there. Also, definition and geotechnical drilling are planned for the upcoming PFS, due out later this year.
