Through a 'breakthrough hole,' Skyharbour Resources encounters the longest continuous intersection of uranium mineralization to date at Moore.

Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (SYH:TSX.V; SYHBF:OTCQB) announced in a news release the results of one of four holes testing the eastern portion of the Maverick East Zone, ML20-09. It was part of the company's fall 2020 diamond drill campaign at its Moore uranium project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin.

"Drill hole ML20-09 is a breakthrough hole for us at the Maverick East Zone as it is the longest continuously mineralized drill intercept the company has reported and it is one of the best basement-hosted zones of mineralization discovered at the project," President and CEO Jordan Trimble said in the news release.

The hole hit a discrete area of mostly basement-hosted uranium mineralization at 271.5289 meters (271.5289m) downhole, which represents the longest continuous intersection of uranium mineralization encountered so far at the project. This result confirms the continuity of the Maverick East zone.

Also, ML20-09 expanded that very zone as it returned 0.72% U3O8 over 17.5m, including 1% U3O8 over 10m.

"We are successfully increasing the size of the high grade uranium zones at the Maverick corridor, and these results illustrate the notable discovery upside potential at the project especially in the basement rock feeder zones which have had limited drill testing historically," Trimble added.

Assays for four additional holes are pending.
