In a news release, Revival Gold Inc. (RVG:TSX.V; RVLGF:OTCQB) provided an exploration update for its Beartrack Gold Project and the adjacent Arnett Gold Project in Idaho, including results for the first seven holes drilled in 2020.
"This year's drill program is off to a strong start," President and CEO Hugh Agro said in the release.
The drill results being reported are from the Haidee target at Arnett. All seven holes intersected near-surface mineralization along the northwestern and southeastern strike extension of that deposit. "Results indicate that the structures that control mineralization are continuous along strike and have extended known mineralization beyond the current resource approximately 100 meters (100m) to the northwest and 50m to the southeast," the release noted.
Highlight assays include 0.63 grams per ton gold (0.63 g/t Au) over 22.9m in hole AC20-43D, 0.38 g/t Au over 41m in hole AC20-42D and 0.3 g/t Au over 9.9m in hole AC20-41D.
The two rigs working on the Haidee target completed drilling there, which comprised 30 exploration and infill holes over about 4,900m.
The third rig drilled an initial 470-meter exploration drill hole, BT20-226D, between the North and South Pits at Beartrack. The company reported that this hole intersected the Panther Creek Shear zone and encountered oxidized and unoxidized sulfides, confirming continuity there.
To follow this up, Revival is mobilizing one of the two rigs from Haidee to this area for drilling four more holes, with the goal of extending mineralization. Currently, the company is preparing drill pads between the pits.
The other rig from Haidee will drill the new Rabbit target area at Beartrack, which is about 3 kilometers south of the current resource. The third rig is now drilling in the Joss area, which is located at the south end of the Beartrack resource.
Results from hole BT20-226D and the other 23 Haidee holes are pending.
