The purpose, the company noted, is to test a new area, from which surface samples taken from outcrop returned high-grade polymetallic mineralization values that ranged from 10–43.4 grams per ton gold, 29.2–46 grams per ton silver and 1.3–4.6% copper.
Thus, the Vancouver-headquartered junior explorer will initially drill in the area of the Boundary Valley's west bank. It is about 500 meters (500m) south of North Boundary's high-grade mineralized zone. The target hosts a 300m-long corridor of polymetallic mineralization, and about 190m west of that is a large magnetic anomaly.
"The coincident magnetic anomaly combined with the confirmed precious metal mineralization in both outcrop and drill core from this area make for a compelling target that will be further explored during this season," the release noted.
