In a news release, artificial intelligence and contactless solutions provider Loop Insights Inc. (MTRX:TSX.V) announced the "signing of a channel reseller partnership with Kentucky-based bdG Sports LLC, a leading representation, event management and public relations firm operating within the global sports marketing industry."
The company noted that bdG Sports manages several NCAA Division I tournaments across North America and is one of the largest providers of college basketball content in the U.S. In addition, bdG Sports manages two professional golf tournaments on the Korn Ferry Tour in the Caribbean and has a vast amount of experience with the LPGA and PGA Tours. The firm has established strong relationships with major brand sporting event sponsors including ESPN, Gatorade, Nike and MGM Resorts International. At present, due to the COVID-19 situation, these mainstay events along with many other bdG events have been disrupted and will not be resumed until a solution can be implemented that assures the safety of athletes, fans and staff.

The company stated that plans are for bdG Sports to not only integrate Loop's contact tracing product into its current and future sporting events, but to also implement Loop's solutions to reinvent the live fan engagement experience through personalized real-time interactions.
As part of the partnering arrangement, bdG Sports will represent Loop as a reseller to its current and future clients allowing it direct access to the bdG Sports client base which Loop expects will increase its sports industry growth opportunities.
