VSBLTY Groupe Technologies reported it is partnering with Retailigent Media to increase customer engagement and provide advanced analytics to a large pet store chain in Mexico.

In a news release, VSBLTY Groupe Technologies Corp. (VSBY:CSE; VSBGF:OTC; 5VS:FSE) announced that together with its Mexico-based partner Retailigent Media, "it has been contracted to provide advanced audience analytics and customer engagement technology in a Mexican chain of pet stores." The announcement was made today by Jay Hutton, co-founder and CEO of VSBLTY Groupe Technologies.

The company stated that Retailigent Media is the leading company in Mexico for smart retail solutions, analytics and smart displays. The firm indicated that Retailigent also has offices in five other Latin American countries.

VSBLTY further explained that Retailigent specializes in providing brands and retailers with personalized shopping experiences for their customers and that the company offers advertising and marketing insights to some of the world's leading brands such as Coca Cola, Diageo, Proctor & Gamble and Telefonica. The company deploys retail digital displays and has the capability to provide analytics, OOH traffic measurements and predictive advertising triggered by gender and age.

Retailigent Media' CEO and Co-Founder Rodrigo Velasco commented, "The pet store deployment will utilize digital shelf strips, small interactive surfaces, real-time audience analytics and touchless interface for customer engagement. The initial installations will be in 10 locations but is expected to roll to 85 locations in the short term."

"This represents an interesting and exciting move into a new brand category for VSBLTY and Retailigent. We are anxious to see if the sales lift experienced with other brands will be duplicated in the pet food category," VSBLTY's CEO Hutton added.

The company advised that "its VSBLTY technology provides enhanced customer engagement and audience measurement using machine learning and computer vision." The firm noted that its Vector™ AI-driven software offers advanced facial recognition technology that can both recognize weapons and identify suspicious individuals in a crowd.
