Hole TUDDH500 intercepted the mineralization in a network of veins, each of which was between a few millimeters and 2 centimeters wide, beginning at about 570 meters (570m) downhole. Some of the veins showed "coarse clots of visible gold, particularly those at a depth of approximately 583 meters," the release described.
The hole was drilled down to the Tuvatu lode network where it is believed the lodes connect to form a feeder structure. The Canadian explorer will keep drilling TUDDH500 down past the whole feeder target to an estimated 1,000 meters.
The company stated that it is also now logging drilled core.
