Aben's Forrest Kerr Gold Project

Gold exploration company Aben Resources Ltd. (ABN:TSX.V; ABNAF:OTCQB), in a news release, provided an update regarding its plans for commencing its 2020 field program at the Forrest Kerr Gold project located in northwest British Columbia's Golden Triangle region. The firm indicated that the field team is scheduled to arrive and begin work at the property in early July. The scope of the program will entail mapping and prospecting along with soil and rock sampling. The objectives of the program are to more precisely define existing targets and identify new targets for a potential drill program later in the season.

The company stated that the 2020 field work will include correlation and ground-truth downhole data, surface observations and geophysical signatures in the area between the mineralized corridor at South Boundary and high-grade gold mineralization at North Boundary; geological mapping and prospecting toward the north in the Boundary Valley between the high-grade North Boundary Zone and the Marcasite Gossan; and soil sampling and prospecting in the area immediately south of the South Boundary drill locations.

The company noted that "the Forrest Kerr Property consists of 4 separate claim blocks comprised of 56 mineral claims (23,397 ha) and is owned 100% by Aben Resources." The firm stated that it has drilled 70 holes totaling 21,968 meters since 2016, and "the initial exploration focus will be between the North and South Boundary zones, in a transitional area where the Benchlands Fault (South) coalesces with the Nelson Creek Fault Zone (North)."

The firm additionally announced that the 2020 Communications Agreement between Aben Resources and the Tahltan Central Government has been signed and that it is looking forward to a continued positive and mutually beneficial business relationship.

The company also announced that it has made changes to the 2020 season exploration plans to accommodate coronavirus concerns. The firm advised that it will utilize a smaller field crew at the start of the season. After the field crew completes their program and contingent upon receiving favorable exploration results, the company will then activate a drill program and thus keep the camp population down to a minimum.
