TraceSafe Inc. (TSF:CSE) announced in a news release that it and Boustead Projects E&C, one of the largest construction firms in Singapore, will partner to deploy and use COVID-19 contract tracing technology to "help meet the COVID-Safe Restart Criteria published by the Singapore Building and Construction Authority. This represents the first Enterprise Contact Tracing deployment of the product suite called AllSafe."
"The arrangement is an example of major enterprise employing TraceSafe contact tracing solutions to help reopen safely using technology to provide a safer work environment," the release noted.
In the initial enterprise deployment, TraceSafe's product suite, AllSafe, which consists of wearable bracelets, gateway devices and cloud management software, will be set up at one of Boustead's work sites in Singapore. All Boustead personnel will wear a contract tracing bracelet, and gateway devices will be installed at certain entrance/exit and other points on the property. Data will be generated, saved to and retrievable from the cloud.
With AllSafe, contract tracing records can lead to identification of employees who may have been exposed to someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 based on the location of the devices worn by all workers. Also, when physical distancing requirements are violated, the product detects the breach, sounds an alarm in real time and records the incident. AllSafe facilitates worker assignments and team separations, as needed, too.
Upon subsequent proof of concept, both TraceSafe and Boustead agreed to "negotiate a definitive agreement for the deployment of AllSafe in all Boustead managed work sites," according to the release.
"We are thrilled that Boustead has agreed to deploy our technology at its worksite for their workers as they reopen. Singapore is one of the most rapidly industrializing countries in the world. We believe that TraceSafe solutions are well suited for this application. We could not be more excited working with Boustead," said Dennis Kwan, CEO of TraceSafe Technologies. "A successful proof-of-concept will position TraceSafe as a solution for construction sites and other large-scale enterprises looking to reopen safely."[NLINSERT]
