In a news release, Nevada focused gold royalty company Ely Gold Royalties Inc. (ELY:TSX.V; ELYGF:OTCQX; A2JSL0:FSE) announced that "it has qualified to trade on the OTCQX® Best Market and that Ely Gold shares have been upgraded to OTCQX from the OTCQB® Venture Market."

The company reported that it shares commenced trading May 12 under the symbol "ELYGF" on the OTCQX. The firm advised that U.S. investors are able to view all of the current financial disclosures and Real-Time Level 2 quotes for the company at the OTC Markets website.

The company's President & CEO Trey Wasser remarked, "We are extremely pleased to have met the qualifications for the OTCQX where we will now trade with premier foreign issuers and where we will also be able to enhance our liquidity and strengthen our shareholder base. The past 18 months has been very exciting for our team and our shareholders. We look forward to a bright future, building our royalty portfolio and generating returns for our shareholders."
