Black Tusk Resources Inc. (TUSK:CSE; BTKRF:OTCMKTS; 0NB:FSE) received the required permit to diamond drill at its McKenzie East gold project north of Val d'Or in Quebec, it announced in a news release.
With the permit, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based explorer may construct 18 drill pads in addition to supporting water supply stations and access trails.
The company then will conduct diamond drilling this summer. Before commencing with that, though, Black Tusk states that it intends to conduct surface prospecting, mapping and soil and rock sampling, starting this month. It will target areas that it previously identified through its recent magnetic survey of the property and results of historical exploration work.
"Now that the Quebec government has given the green light for exploration companies to go back to work, Black Tusk Resources is extremely excited to commence our exploration season at the McKenzie East gold project," CEO Richard Penn said in the release.[NLINSERT]
