Recruiting Tech Firm Responds to COVID-19, Clients' Shifting Needs

Recruiter.com identifies the sectors with the greatest hiring demand due to the newly changed job market.

In a news release, Recruiter.com Group Inc. (RCRT:OTCQB) announced how it responded so far to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The recruiting marketplace established virtual operations, reached out to its community and concentrated on hiring in areas that would have the greatest impact, such as healthcare. Recruiter.com also responded to its clients' shifting needs.

"Our first priority during this unprecedented time is the health and safety of our employees and community of clients, partners and recruiters," CEO Miles Jennings said in the release.

Specific actions the company took include making its recruitment training program free with the code "LearnRecruiting." As a result, the number of participants expanded by 50% to 200, and those people will be certified recruiters once they complete the training.

Texas-based Recruiter.com also identified sizable hiring gaps in the changing job market and focused its client development efforts in those areas. It compiled information about the top companies currently hiring, and it developed a webinar series for recruitment professionals about the sectors and fields with the greatest hiring need.

"Recent events related to COVID-19 have actually caused an uptick in our available open jobs due to our focus on areas of continued strong demand, such as healthcare, logistics, telecom and financial services," Jennings added. "Interestingly, during the most recent week, job listings on the platform were up 250%."
