Newrange Gold Corp. (NRG:TSX.V; NRGOF:OTC) announced in a news release that the last of the underground channel sampling at the Good Hope mine at its Pamlico project in Nevada confirms further mineralization continuity.
Results showed that oxide gold mineralization extended from outcrops at the opening of the mine's 5609 level across its entire 51 meters (51m). The mineralization there is well exposed and remains open to the east. Samples from 5609 returned widths ranging from 5–17m and average grades of 1.05 grams gold per ton (1.05 g/t) gold and 11.2 g/t silver.
The company stated that results of the 109 channel samples taken and analyzed to date confirmed mineralization continuity also between level 5609 and the adjacent 5570 and 5690 levels. The mineralized zone identified at Good Hope parallels the surface and remains open along strike and down dip beyond historic mine workings.
"With these final results, we are pleased to see the continuity of gold and silver mineralization throughout the workings at the Good Hope Mine," stated Robert Archer, CEO. "Now that the Company is well financed, we intend to add at least one more sampling crew to speed up the process. In addition, the IP geophysical crew will be returning to continue that survey and refine additional drill targets to be tested later in this first quarter."
