In drill hole 19AGBDD007, two separate zones of mineralization were encountered. The upper zone demonstrated 1.1 grams per ton (1.1 g/t) gold and 41.62 g/t silver over 42.15 meters (42.15m) of core length. The lower zone returned high grades of 30.2 g/t gold and 1,361 g/t silver over 2.95m of core length.
In addition, results from hole 19AGBDD002 located 200m along strike to the south yielded 1.16 g/t gold and 30.56 g/t silver over 67m of core length. This extended the strike length of the Amethyst Gold Breccia zone to almost 400m and its vertical depth to 170m.
"Drilling at Amethyst Gold Breccia continues to yield fantastic results below and along strike from the historical mining," CEO John Williamson said in the release. "Our drilling is demonstrating strong continuity of the mineralizing system beyond its previously known extents and identifying historically unrecognized bulk tonnage potential, representing a significant opportunity to add gold and silver ounces to the Lawyers project."
Results of six more drill holes from Amethyst Gold Breccia are pending.[NLINSERT]
