AR Firm's 'Try It On' E-Commerce Technology Draws New Client

The new user is an eyewear company, part of a sizable and growing market.

NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it signed up a new client, AimCam, for its augmented reality (AR) "Try It On" technology.

AimCam manufacturers video capture sports glasses. With NexTech's e-commerce platform, prospective and existing AimCam customers will now be able to, online at the company's website, try on and see how they look in AimCam's glasses before deciding whether or not to purchase them. Shoppers can even take a picture of themselves wearing the product. They don't need an app for any of it.

"We expect that this activation will add tremendous value for AirCam customers and, with our newly released analytics dashboard, provide valuable analytics data for both companies," NexTech CEO Evan Gappelberg said in the release.

AimCam is the second eyewear company in two weeks to request NexTech's "Try It On" service, Method Seven being the first.
