With all three zones open downplunge, the Canadian company intends to continue drilling.

Osisko Mining Corp. (OSK:TSX) announced in a news release it hit high-grade gold mineralization on drilling in three zones of the Lynx deposit at its Windfall project in Quebec: the Lynx, the Lynx Extension and the Triple Lynx.

This occurred during its ongoing definition and expansion drill campaign targeting the Lynx deposit, the main mineralized zones and the central areas of the mineralized intrusive system.

"The Lynx zones have delivered outstanding results for us, especially the expansion stepouts which continue to significantly grow our zones and demonstrate good continuity," President and Chief Executive Officer John Burzynski said in the release. "With all three zones remaining open down-plunge, we will continue both infill and expansion drilling to add ounces in all categories for the resource update."

New results, or 73 intercepts, are available from 15 drill holes and 28 wedges from surface. Here are some highlights:

In the Lynx, hole OSK-W-19-923-W4 intersected three intervals: 3.63 grams per ton (3.63 g/t) gold over 2 meters (2m), 20.3 g/t gold over 2.1m and 23.7 g/t gold over 2.1m.

Regarding the Lynx Extension, hole OSK-W-19-991-W5 returned four intervals there: 8.82 g/t gold over 2m, 5.77 g/t gold over 2.1m, 3.42 g/t gold over 3m and 16.8 g/t gold over 4.7m.

As for Triple Lynx, hole OSK-W-19-2026-W1 intersected five intervals in it: 3.43 g/t gold over 2.1m, 3.7 g/t gold over 5.7m, 9.56 g/t gold over 2.1m, 6.89 g/t gold over 2m and 5.04 g/t gold over 2.2m.

The program continues with 16 rigs drilling at Lynx and Triple Lynx and seven additional ones doing infill and exploration drilling in other areas of the deposit. "With all three zones remaining open downplunge, we will continue both infill and expansion drilling to add ounces in all categories for the resource update," Burzynski added.
