With these new contracts, the Vancouver-based company continues to build its momentum in Texas.

Reliq Health Technologies Inc. (RHT:TSX.V; RQHTF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it signed contracts with five home health agencies in Dallas and Laredo, Texas, allowing them to use Reliq's remote patient monitoring system, iUGO Care.

All of the new clients will go live with the platform by the end of this month. Some already have started uploading their patient data to the system.

Reliq's iUGO Care platform "integrates wearables, sensors, voice technology and intuitive mobile apps and desktop user interfaces for patients, clinicians and healthcare administrators," the release noted.

It allows patients with complex medical problems to receive care at home, thereby improving health outcomes, enhancing their and their families' quality of life and reducing healthcare delivery costs. Finally, iUGO Care offers real-time access to remote patient monitoring data, meaning the care team can intervene in a timely fashion and in so doing, prevent costly hospital readmissions and emergency room visits.
