The company makes this move after building out its distribution and dealer network.

Eguana Technologies Inc. (EGT:TSX.V; EGTYF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it officially engaged Jabil via a multiyear master supply agreement to manufacture Eguana's residential and commercial energy storage systems.

"Given the success the company has had building out our distribution and dealer network we needed a manufacturing partner with the ability to produce around the world, with an engineering and design core competency, and a global supply chain and logistics network," Eguana CEO Justin Holland said in the release.

With more than 100 manufacturing sites and 200,000 employees, Jabil has the scalability and reliability needed to serve Eguana's existing and prospective customers, the company noted. The manufacturer will initially concentrate on producing QCELLS Enduro product.

In other news, Eguana secured working capital support from Export Development Canada (EDC), which immediately reduces the energy firm's cost of capital, thereby allowing it to get Jabil manufacturing right away. EDC is a financial Crown corporation that helps Canadian companies succeed globally.
