NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it agreed to provide its AR eCommerce solution to LA Police Gear.com, an e-tailer of police, military and tactical gear, for nine products.
The tech firm will incorporate three-dimensional augmented reality components into LAPG's online shopping platform.
As a result, shoppers will be able to see if a product is the correct size and meets their needs in terms of loadout and functionality, the company stated.
"The largest barrier that online retailers run into is the customer not being able to touch and feel the product. With this technology, it gives our customers as close to a 'retail' experience as they can get without being in a store. With our customers, they need to make sure that what they are buying is going to work as often times their life is going to depend on it. With Nextech's AR technology integrated on our website they will now be able to see if something is the right size, has the right features and will work for their load out, which is great," LAPG CEO Mark Hedman said in the release.
