The discovery of these additional targets on its property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle resulted from the company's thorough review of historical data sets, geologic mapping, and stream sediment and rock chip sampling.
One target is 10 kilometers (10 km) northeast and the other is 3.5 km south of the existing Homestake Ridge high-grade resource area.
"These targets are in areas that have seen modest previous exploration and importantly contain high grade and demonstrate the potential for substantial mineralization," Ivan Bebek, executive chairman and director, said in the release.
The northern target, named Bria, returned assays from rock samples of up to 11 grams per ton (11 g/t) gold and 448 g/t silver, suggesting the presence of high-grade mineralization in the target area.
The southern target, called Kombi, showed two high-priority areas in consecutive drainage basins. One is an approximately 2-km-long trend, stream sediment samples from which contained up to 0.91 g/t gold. The other is a 1-km-long trend at the property's southernmost border.[NLINSERT]
