Global Cannabis Applications Corp. (APP:CSE) signed a Letter of Intent to integrate its Citizen Green application into the platform of California-based Cannact LLC, which distributes cannabis technology and products, to then be offered to members of Cannact's network of retailers and dispensaries.
This event happened less than two weeks after Global Cannabis announced its Citizen Green application had become available to medical cannabis retailers, a milestone that "marks a turning point where our company begins to generate revenue," said CEO Bradley Moore in a news release.
Citizen Green encompasses two components: the desktop- and mobile-accessible Prescriptii data application and the Marketplace. Through machine learning, blockchain and other smart technologies, Prescriptii analyzes retailers' product and dosage recommendations along with patients' experiences with those, both positive and negative. These aggregated data are available to retailers to assist them in "suggesting the best possible medical cannabis product for a specific ailment for their clients," according to the company.
Retailers subscribe to Prescriptii at one of the offered levels, and receive Citizen Green Coin (CGC) cryptocurrency, which they may spend in the Citizen Green Marketplace or use for customer loyalty programs. Also with CGC, retailers may buy and sell medical cannabis products and services globally via the GCAC Blockchain.
Clients are enticed to record their product experiences by Global Cannabis' Onward Loyalty Program, through which they may earn CGC cryptocoins redeemable for products.
The overarching goal, the release noted, is for Global Cannabis' Citizen Green to serve as "the ultimate medical cannabis influencer and marketplace by drawing attention to products, patients and providers."
