Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (SYH:TSX.V; SYHBF:OTCQB) announced in a news release its partner, Azincourt Energy, began drilling, in accordance with the earn-in agreement, at the East Preston uranium project in Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin.
Up to 15 holes of diamond drilling are planned for the $1.2 million program this year. Drilling will cover 2,000–2,500 meters and occur from up to 10 pads. Most of the proposed holes will test multiple subparallel electromagnetic conductors in the A and B zones in an area where marked structural disruption is seen.
Initial drilling also is planned for the Swoosh zone, "a 7-plus kilometer long, east-west structural lineament with strongly anomalous, spatially consistent geochemical anomalies (lake sediments, radon, soil) and coincident magnetic and gravity geophysical anomalies," the release described.
Drilling already is underway at pad EP20PADB, on the northern part of the A zone conductor corridor. This is near a parallel corridor in which one 2019 drill hole hit a graphite-pyrite bearing shear zone.
