While the current debate on gun legislation can become divisive, one company is working to make non-lethal firearms an option.

Why Byrna?

Patrick Doyle, an analyst with Seeking Alpha, put out a piece titled "Why Byrna Technologies Is a Buy?" in November. In the article, Doyle stated, "I remain very committed to this company for a host of reasons." Some of these reasons include Byrna's adaptability in the face of social media bans and the company's healthy cash balance. Doyle ended the article by saying, "Given that Byrna is a very compelling solution to the countervailing trends cited above, given the huge insider buying activity, and given the improved financial performance, I’m comfortable adding a few thousand shares to my position. This is one of the most speculative investments I own, but it’s certainly one of the most compelling, too."

In November, Steven Palmer, the president and CEO of AlphaNorth Asset Management, recommended Byrna in and interview. He brought up the need for non-lethal firearms, specifically in the United States, and said, "I'm pretty excited going forward because there is a huge market for that product. It makes a lot of sense."

In a follow-up interview on January 16, Palmer once again recommended the technology stock. At the time, the company has recently turned to celebrities, including Sean Hannity, to endorse its products. The results were extraordinary. According to the company, preliminary unaudited results show that revenues in Q4 2023 jumped 120% over Q3 2023 to US$15.6 million.

"This is one of those stories where the numbers kind of speak for themselves," Palmer had commented.

Stock Traders Daily also put out a report on Byrna Technologies. In a January 25 note, Stock Traders Daily rated Byrna both strong in a near and midterm but weak-longterm.
