Toogood Gold Corp. (TGC:TSXV; TGGCF:OTCQB) announced that it has staked 44 additional Bureau of Land Management lode claims at its Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project in Lincoln County, Nevada, increasing the project to 228 claims covering approximately 1,906 hectares. According to the company, the newly staked claims cover approximately 368 hectares and secure open ground along the interpreted continuation of priority structural corridors, including the Widowmaker Trend and a subparallel arcuate trend, ahead of Phase 2 exploration.
The company said the expanded land package captures extensions of priority arcuate structural corridors, secures more than 10 kilometers of cumulative interpreted strike length along the Widowmaker Trend and a subparallel structural corridor, and provides additional ground for exploration access, staging, and future project infrastructure planning. Reconnaissance soil geochemistry has already been completed across the newly staked claims, with 166 samples collected. The company said those results will be integrated with ongoing geological mapping, prospecting, LiDAR, and geophysical datasets for Phase 2 target evaluation and follow-up exploration.
"This claim expansion is a strategic and timely step as we continue to define the scale, alteration footprint, and structural framework of the low-sulphidation epithermal system at Table Mountain," stated Colin Smith, CEO of Toogood Gold Corp. "The additional claims secure more than 10 kilometers of cumulative interpreted strike length across two priority structural corridors and provide additional high-priority ground for immediate evaluation. With reconnaissance soil sampling complete and Phase 2 CSAMT, prospecting, rock sampling, and mapping set to commence, we are well positioned to advance these corridors toward drill targeting."
Phase 2 Exploration Activities Expand Across Table Mountain
Phase 2 exploration is scheduled to begin in July and includes approximately 20 line-kilometers of controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics surveying. Toogood said it has engaged Zonge International to complete the survey, which will focus on the Widowmaker Trend and a subparallel trend. According to the company, the work is designed to map subsurface resistivity contrasts potentially associated with structures, silicification, alteration, and hydrothermal fluid pathways.
The company also said Big Rock Exploration will conduct Phase 2 prospecting and rock sampling. The program includes targeted follow-up work across priority structural corridors, together with systematic coverage of the broader alteration footprint at Table Mountain.

What is the Widowmaker Trend?
The Widowmaker Trend is one of the priority structural corridors identified at the Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project. The newly staked claims secured more than 10 kilometers of cumulative interpreted strike length across the Widowmaker Trend and a subparallel structural corridor.
What exploration work is planned at the Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project?
Toogood Gold said Phase 2 exploration includes approximately 20 line-kilometers of controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT), along with targeted prospecting, rock sampling, and geological mapping. The company also completed reconnaissance soil geochemistry across the newly staked claims.
What is CSAMT in mineral exploration?
Controlled-source audio-frequency magnetotellurics (CSAMT) is a geophysical survey method used to map subsurface resistivity contrasts. According to Toogood Gold, the survey is designed to identify structures, silicification, alteration, and hydrothermal fluid pathways.
Where is the Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project located?
The Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project is located in Lincoln County, Nevada.
How many claims does the Table Mountain Project have?
Following the latest staking program, the Table Mountain Gold-Silver Project consists of 228 Bureau of Land Management lode claims covering approximately 1,906 hectares.
Why are additional mining claims important in gold exploration?
Mining claims can provide exploration companies with additional ground for geological evaluation, exploration access, staging, and future infrastructure planning. According to Toogood Gold, the newly staked claims also expanded coverage of priority structural corridors.
What is reconnaissance soil geochemistry?
Reconnaissance soil geochemistry involves collecting soil samples to identify geochemical patterns that may help guide future exploration. Toogood Gold reported collecting 166 soil samples across its newly staked claims.
What is a low-sulphidation epithermal gold system?
According to Toogood Gold, Table Mountain is a low-sulphidation epithermal system. The company stated it is evaluating the project's structural framework, alteration footprint, and priority exploration corridors through its ongoing exploration program.
