Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC:NYSE AMERICAN) advances major uranium growth across Texas and Wyoming, with Burke Hollow now operating and US$818M in liquid assets fueling expansion.

On June 9, 2026, Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC:NYSE AMERICAN) announced it had filed its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended April 30, 2026.

Operational highlights included:

  • Operations commenced at Burke Hollow ISR Project: America's largest greenfield in-situ recovery ("ISR") project to come into production in over a decade, and started operations in South Texas.
  • Maintaining Low-Cost Production Profile: 32,195 pounds of uranium concentrate were produced during Q2 at a cost of US$54.61. Total cost rose in Q3 primarily due to lower production resulting from the timing of regulatory approvals for new header houses that started operating later in the quarter, as well as an increase in state taxes.
  • Received Regulatory Approval for Expanded Production at Christensen Ranch: Three new header houses in Wellfield 11 began production late in Q3. Five additional header houses are under construction, and one additional header house is complete but waiting for regulatory approval.
  • Continued Production Ramp Up: Production rates are expected to increase in the fourth fiscal quarter with new header houses operational at Christensen Ranch and Burke Hollow.
  • Advancing Toward Construction at the Ludeman Project: The 240-hole delineation drilling program was completed. Ludeman is planned to be the company's third operating ISR uranium mine.
  • Sweetwater Delineation Drill Program Completed: A 200-hole delineation drilling program in the first two planned wellfields at Sweetwater was completed.
  • Roughrider Pre-Feasibility Progressing: Core drilling is over 80% complete to support a planned Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Roughrider project located in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, Canada.
  • Critical Minerals Portfolio Update: A recently completed independent report concluded that Uranium Energy's Alto Paraná titanium and vanadium project in Paraguay represents a significant critical minerals platform. The study determined that the project has the potential to materially contribute to the security and diversification of U.S. supply chains for titanium and vanadium.

Uranium Energy hopes to position itself as America's only vertically integrated nuclear fuel supplier that can handle material from mining to conversion. The company obtained a Docket Number from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to build a uranium conversion facility under its subsidiary, Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp (UR&C). A March 23, 2026, article from PRNewswire.com stated, "The LOI outlines the company's plan to develop a state-of-the-art American uranium refining and conversion facility, building on nearly two years of pre-feasibility and planning."

Uranium Energy Corp. considers itself America's leading, fastest-growing uranium mining company due to the resumption of production at its Wyoming projects. While developing multiple assets all over the world, Uranium Energy produces via In-Situ Recovery (ISR) and has the largest S-K 1300 compliant ISR resource base in the U.S., while also holding a large asset in the Athabasca Basin in Canada.

Uranium Critical to Energy Sector

Uranium is growing in importance as a crucial component of the energy sector. As a critical component in nuclear energy and emerging technologies, a shortage of the element is only expected to grow. The International Atomic Energy Agency projects that global nuclear capacity could double by 2050, reaching between 561 gigawatts and 992 gigawatts. This prediction has caused uranium mine policy support to strengthen. In May 2025, the U.S. issued a series of executive orders aimed at quadrupling domestic nuclear capacity to 400 gigawatts by 2050, from roughly 100 gigawatts today.

"The United States burns through roughly 50 million pounds of uranium each year to fuel the world's largest fleet of nuclear reactors, and imports approximately 95% of that uranium from foreign suppliers," reported Equity Insider on May 14, 2026. The report continued, "That structural import dependence — combined with accelerating demand projections for nuclear power across AI data centers, grid expansion, and emerging space-deployment mandates — has placed domestic uranium development firmly into the national security conversation."

Currently, several companies are advancing America's domestic uranium mine portfolio. Among them, Uranium Energy Corp has continued to develop its U.S.-based in-situ recovery uranium production platform across Texas and Wyoming, alongside development-stage assets in the Powder River and Great Divide basins.

Experts Call Company's Big Picture "Attractive"

On July 9, 2026, Jeff Clark and Daniel Flynn of The Paydirt Prospector wrote about Uranium Energy, calling the operational big picture attractive. They noted key points as: "operating ISR production, Burke Hollow now coming through in Texas, further growth lined up at Christensen Ranch, Ludeman and Sweetwater, and Roughrider advancing in Canada. Add in a strong balance sheet, no debt, uranium inventory, and full exposure to higher uranium prices, and we like the setup. UEC gives us exposure to today's uranium market, plus the longer-term upside from America rebuilding its domestic supply chain."

The pair views Uranium Energy as a long-term uranium stock to hold.

Regarding other analyst ratings, Marketbeat reported:

Expansions at Multiple Projects Underway

The company's investor presentation lists US$818 million in liquid assets, its lack of debt, and its ownership of the largest uranium resource base in the U.S. as big growth catalysts in 2026. With the Burke Hollow mine ready for operation upon final approval and UR&C fully funded, Uranium Energy is planning major expansions of ISR production in both Wyoming and Texas.

Its Roughrider project is undergoing a pre-feasibility study, while its Sweetwater Hub-and-Spoke project is undergoing further development.
