X-Terra Resources reported that it has received work authorization permits to continue exploration and drilling at its Grog and Northwest properties in Restigouche County, N.B.

In a news release, X-Terra Resources Inc. (XTT:TSX.V; XTRRF:OTCMKTS; XTR:FSE) announced that it has "received all the necessary work authorization permits to continue with its exploration and drilling over the Grog and Northwest properties located in Restigouche county, New Brunswick."

The company additionally advised that it has been awarded a CA$35,000 grant from New Brunswick's Junior Mining Assistance Program. The firm stated that it will use a portion of the proceeds from the grant to conduct a detailed geochemical sampling survey over the Grog target and a detailed ground IP survey.

The firm stated that the objective of this program is to complement its winter drilling program where it registered a new gold discovery of 0.46 g/t Au over 31 meters in hole GRG-20-012. This newly discovered continuous gold interval was found at a vertical depth of 81 meters in an area where prior trenching work had produced sporadic results.

The company indicated that the program will be designed to discern the deposit signature, extend the surface footprint of the Grog and confirm parallel structures to Grog. The planned IP survey is slated to cover a defined area of two square kilometers centered on the Grog. The firm mentioned that the detailed geochemical sampling program will be composed of approximately 108 samples collected at 25 meter spaced intervals over 2.6 line kilometers and that the survey will seek to identify parallel structures to Grog hosting a similar Au-As-Sb signature.

X-Terra Resources' President and CEO Michael Ferreira remarked, "This is an exciting step for our team as we will be able to move forward while we wait for our Troilus East samples to come back from the lab. Receiving this grant will allow us to improve our targeting ability along the newly identified gold bearing structure and increase the assurance for the drill targets carrying the same characteristics of Grog."
