This new business segment for the firm offers growth potential.

ParcelPal Technology Inc. (PKG:CSE; PTNYF:OTCQB; PT0:FSE) was engaged by Eco Eats for delivery and logistics services, the company announced in a news release.

Vancouver-based Eco Eats offers an app for grocery shoppers, nonprofit organizations, businesses and people just wanting a meal to find food they want to eat.

ParcelPal will transport wholesale food to Eco Eats' customers throughout the Greater Vancouver area on a scheduled, daily basis and will deliver food, on demand, to its consumers. As such, ParcelPal launched a new certified, food safe, refrigerated service in that region, and expects to begin services for Eco Eats by the end of this month.

Food delivery represents a new growth segment for ParcelPal, one it expects to be profitable by Q2/20.

"We are thrilled to be able to extend our service offerings through this agreement with Eco Eats, a company with a solid approach to providing an eco-friendly platform that brings consumers food they love and coordinates food donations and logistics for non-profits so everyone eats. The expansion will allow ParcelPal to tap into new as well as existing markets," President and CEO Kelly Abbott said in the release.
