Accordingly, the company continues an expanded, aggressive stepout drill program there.

Gatling Exploration Inc. (GTR:TSX.V; GATGF:OTCMKTS) connected two of its three deposits at its Larder gold project in Ontario, it announced in a news release.

"These results mark an important milestone for our drilling program," Nathan Tribble, vice president of exploration, said in the release.

The link between the Bear and Cheminis deposits came about through the results of a 400 meter stepout hole from the high-grade core at Bear. It confirmed gold mineralization in the North zone towards Cheminis and added mineralization to the South Flow zone. That stepout hole returned 36.8 meters (36.8m) of 1.5 grams per ton (1.5 g/t) gold including 14.8m of 2 g/t gold.

The bottom line is that Bear and Cheminis "are part of larger mineralized trend extending for at least 2.5 kilometers along strike," the release noted.

Gatling will continue its methodical stepout hole drilling, proceeding along the Cadillac-Larder Break towards Cheminis, aiming to connect Fernland, the third deposit. This is part of the expansion of Gatling's drill program at Larder to 35,000m, which it announced in a news release a month ago. Another part targets the recently acquired Kir Vit zone, where surface samples returned high-grade gold.

"This is the second major expansion of our 2019 drill program at the Larder gold project and comes as a result of repeated success," CEO and President Nav Dhaliwal said in the release.

Recent drilling at the Ontario project hit a 36.8m interval of widespread mineralization in Bear's North and South Flow zones. It features "consistent, evenly distributed gold grades indicating an intense hydrothermal system with widths comparable to Kerr-Addison," according to the release.

New noteworthy assays from the project include 10.6 g/t gold over 5m in GTR-19-009, a 200m stepout hole at Bear, and 12.3 g/t gold over 5m in GTR-19-008 on a near surface stepout at Cheminis.
