Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. (SCAN:TSX.V; LDDFF:OTCQB; LD2:FSE) announced in a news release it will collaborate with TÜV SÜD America Inc., a Munich-based testing and certification organization.
The purpose is to ensure Liberty Defense's HEXWAVE concealed weapons detection system will meet the wireless, electromagnetic compatibility and safety standards required for certification by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, Industry Canada and European Conformity (CE mark). This work is being done as part of the alpha testing stage of HEXWAVE development.
"It is vital to collaborate with TÜV SÜD, a global powerhouse in testing, certification and knowledge services, to eliminate equipment authorization risks and commercially launch the product on time," Liberty Defense Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations Aman Bhardwaj said in the release.
Any required design changes, as determined during testing, will be made to the beta units. Those units then will undergo full compliance testing for submission to the various relevant authorities for certification.
