Gatling Larder Project

Gatling Exploration Inc. (GTR:TSX.V; GATGF:OTCMKTS) expanded the 2019 drill program at its Larder gold project to 20,000 meters (20,000m) from 10,000m due to early success, it announced in a news release.

During the rest of this year's drill campaign for this asset in Ontario's Abitibi Belt, the company will aim to expand the Bear, Cheminis and Fernland deposits and explore, by drilling high-grade gold targets, new intrusion-related mineralization at the Kir Vit property. Currently, one rig is drilling at Bear and Cheminis. A second is at work at Kir Vit.

The first six holes drilled at Bear hit mineralization, confirmed historical high-grade lenses and extended the mineralized zones westward toward Cheminis. "The recent results demonstrate that the Bear deposit has strong continuity along strike over 500m and with a depth component over 700m within the North carbonate gold zone," the release explained.

Of the total 13 holes drilled this season at Bear and Cheminis at Larder, assays from seven remain pending.

Nathan Tribble, vice president of exploration stated, "The goal of our initial 10,000m program at the Larder Gold Project was to confirm historical high-grade lenses and expand the footprint of the existing deposits. We are very pleased with our success so far and have doubled the program to a total of 20,000m. The expanded program will also include drill testing a number of attractive high-grade gold targets on our newly acquired Kir Vit property." [NLINSERT]
