Patriot One Technologies Inc. (PAT:TSX; PTOTF:OTCQX) announced in a news release it signed a collaborative agreement with Xtract Technologies Inc., an artificial intelligence company based in Vancouver, B.C.
To start, Xtract and three PATSCAN platform component teams, CMR, TMS and VRS, will explore how artificial intelligence technology can enhance multiple data sets, such as people and threat objects, to boost sensor threat-detection performance. In addition, Xtract will look at how combining the data from the three sensor solutions can make the platform more effective.
"We're confident that artificial intelligence technology can deliver improved results, further enhancing the PATSCAN platform's class-leading performance," Xtract CEO Kevin O’Neill said in the release.
The two companies have already started collaborating, and Patriot One expects positive developments to result from those efforts within 30 days.
Under the agreement, along with improving existing products, Patriot One and Xtract will explore developing new products and services, will possibly conduct research and development activities together and will consider other strategic options.
