American Pacific Mining Corp. (USGD:CSE; USGDF:OTC) announced in a news release that a CSAMT geophysical survey has begun on its Tuscarora project in Nevada. Reno-based Zonge International is conducting the study.
"This nonintrusive, low-impact controlled source audiofrequency magnetotellurics survey will highlight key target exploration zones, showing the electrically resistive and conductive areas throughout the entire Tuscarora project area," American Pacific CEO Eric Saderholm said in the release.
Processing and interpretation of the CSAMT data are expected to be done in early July. The survey results along with previously collected information will be used to inform targets for drilling that OceanaGold, American Pacific's joint venture partner on Tuscarora, will undertake later this summer.
