NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it signed an agreement with Just Vertical to provide the hydroponic farming systems developer with its augmented reality technology.
Just Vertical will use NexTech's ARitize software to create three-dimensional (3D), augmented reality (AR) models from two-dimensional images of its AEVA hydroponic setups. Visitors to Just Vertical's website will then be able to rotate its 3D products by 360 degrees and "place" them in their home to see how they fit and look before buying. ARitize is available to retailers as a monthly, software as a service subscription.
NexTech landing yet another ARitize customer "not only highlights the demand for innovative AR technologies in the e-commerce space, but also validates the power of our industry-leading solutions as we continue to grow our customer base," NexTech CEO Evan Gappelberg said in the release.
Kevin Jakiela, Just Vertical co-founder, commented, also in the release, "We chose NexTech to ARitize our AEVA system because we know it will provide a better level of education for our product and empower the consumer's path to purchase as they shop on our website."
