NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release that consumers are viewing online content facilitated by its Three-Dimensional Augmented Reality (3D-AR) technology platform 3 million times per month, and that number is increasing.
To take advantage of the growing demand, the company has been expanding its sales force over the past two months, aiming to expand to a total of 10 sales team members this year.
NexTech continues to land new customers that want its 360-degree Hootview platform and its 3D-AR e-commerce platform. Fluidmaster, Oro Alexander, Reef, Biltwell, VSI Products and Ernie Ball Music Man are among its many clients.
Biltwell, for example, uses NexTech's technology to display its motorcycle parts in an interactive 3D format online. Bill Bryant, Biltwell's co-founder, said in the release that his company's online conversion rate grew 2.7 times among consumers who engaged with the 360 views while e-shopping, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars of increased sales. As such, the product paid for itself in a month's time. He added that visitors to the Biltwell site "were blown away by the engaging and deeper online shopping experience provided."
