NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE;NEXCF:OTC) announced in a news release it can offer its e-commerce clients three-dimensional (3D) advertising solutions on Facebook.
This advertising service is "a big step forward" in building out a robust, vertically integrated suite of AR-3D products and ecosystem, which today include shopping, video conferencing and learning, the release noted. "Having the ability to offer 3D advertising options to our AR e-commerce customers is a big deal since the majority of spend in e-commerce is on ads," said CEO and Director Evan Gappelberg in the release.
Three-dimensional ads allow the viewer to see an object as close to real life as possible, from any angle or at any scale. Such an experience was shown through split testing by Sketchfab to improve the user's engagement over traditional ads.
According to the company, "a A 3D ad experience allows the user to truly experience products, viewing from any angle or scale with rich true rendering. This essentially provides an out of store shopping experience, the closest you can get to the actual product before buying it. Split-testing by Sketchfab-branded 3D ads versus traditional static ads bears out just how dramatically engagement can improve, showing a 633% increase in sign-up conversions and a 376% increase in click through rates."
The company's new business pipeline includes e-commerce, education and training, and live streaming and telepresence.
