In currency markets, the dollar was choppy but generally weaker; dollar gold bullion prices ranged between lows of USD 878.05 and highs of USD 921.31 an ounce, an intraday range of nearly 5%. Earlier on Wednesday, trading in gold stocks was muted in Australia, but good flows were noted into Chinese gold stocks Zhongjin and Shandong.
