Scottie Resources reported the system is shown to occur along strike from its past-producing Scottie Mine.

In a news release, Scottie Resources Corp. (SCOT:TSX.V) announced that the first ever drilling in the Domino zone at its Scottie project in British Columbia encountered high-grade gold and silver mineralization.

Highlights intercepts from the recent 18-hole drill campaign at Domino include 2.69m of 12.4 grams per ton (12.4 g/t) gold and 8.7 g/t silver in a hole that ended in mineralization at 121.5m down.

Other noteworthy intervals were near surface and include 0.94m of 19.9 g/t gold and 71.6 g/t silver, hosted in a wider zone of moderate mineralization, 15.46m of 2.48 g/t gold and 8.63 g/t silver.

"These drill results confirm our hypothesis of a high-grade gold mineralizing system occurring along strike from the past-producing Scottie gold mine," CEO Bradley Rourke said in the release. "The 900 meter (900m) strike length of the Domino zone, combined with the 2 kilometer separation from the mine provides exceptional potential to host a large high-grade deposit."

The company noted that it will continue drilling at the project in 2021 and intends to use the data from the drill program, geophysics and structural mapping to identify and drill high-grade zones throughout the length of the mineralized corridor.
