BNK Petroleum Inc. (BKX:TSX; BNKPF:OTCQX) reported the Anderson 1-15H10X3 well was successfully drilled and cased. This well, in which the company has a 33% working interest, is in Oklahoma's SCOOP region, in Tishomingo field. Next for the well is fracture stimulation, slated to begin in mid-November.
"We are very pleased that the Anderson well was successfully drilled under budget," said President and CEO Wolf Regener. "This is the first 2-mile Caney lateral in the area, and we are excited about the production potential of the Anderson well."
Similarly, fracture stimulation of another well in Tishomingo field, the Brock 4-2H, is scheduled to start in about 10 days. BNK owns a 77% working interest in this well. It is anticipated flowback from this well will occur after completion of the fracture stimulation of offsetting Anderson 1-15H10X3.
